Job summary

Little Manor Day Nursery and Pre-school in Runcorn is offering a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship. You’ll train on the job while earning a wage, observing experienced staff and taking on responsibilities such as maintaining children's records and supporting safeguarding.

The programme is designed to develop practical skills under qualified mentors, with progression to Nursery Assistant roles after about 12 months and access to accredited training and a generous benefits package,

Qualifications

• Passion for educating and supporting young children.
• Willing to commit to the apprenticeship programme.
• Able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and maintaining children's records.
• Support safeguarding policies and health, safety and wellbeing of children.
• Contribute to activities in line with EYFS and support mentors.
