Job summary

Partou is offering a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship in Glossop, enabling you to train while earning. You will observe experienced practitioners, plan and maintain records, and support safeguarding, health, safety and wellbeing of children.

You’ll be mentored by qualified staff and work toward EYFS-aligned activities. The role starts with an hourly wage of £12.26 (age/experience dependent) with extensive benefits and potential progression.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five is desirable.
• Commitment to the apprenticeship programme and willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain children’s records.
• Understand safeguarding policies and health, safety and wellbeing of children.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities in line with EYFS.
• Work with trusted staff to support children, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment.
