Rodericks Dental Partners in Yeovil is offering a training programme to become a qualified dental nurse within a clinically led group that values learning, patient care, and career growth.

You'll gain hands-on experience across our 6-surgery practice, with mentorship, course support, and opportunities to develop infection control and chairside skills as you study. Join a team that supports your progress across 220+ practices nationwide, because your smile matters too.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work in a clinical environment.
• GCSEs in English and Maths are desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable with procedures where you may see blood.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Help keep treatment areas clean and organised to meet hygiene standards.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Complete coursework and assessments as part of your dental nursing qualification.
• Participate fully in training sessions and development activities.

• Practice Manager- Non clinical but worked in have 15+ yrs experience in dental practices. CQC registered, financial/commercial background.
• 2 train stations within the town. 1 direct to Waterloo. Bus station ¼ mile away. Good bus links. 40 mins from M5 (at Taunton), 15mins from A303
• No onsite parking but local car park nearbySmall town near Bristol, strong community

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Help keep treatment areas clean and organised to meet strict hygiene standards
• Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Complete coursework and assessments as part of your dental nursing qualification
• Participate fully in training sessions and development activities

Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For:

• A genuine interest in healthcare and patient care
• Friendly, caring, and approachable personality
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• An understanding that you will be on your feet throughout the day!
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable but not essential – enthusiasm and dedication matter most !
