Job summary

Stantec Inc. in Newcastle upon Tyne is offering a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering. You will spend four days a week in the office and work toward a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree with our training providers.

The role includes hands-on design tasks and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will gain experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software, contributing to real client projects such as Northumbrian Water and Living Water Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Predicted grades meeting minimum entry requirements stated.
• Minimum 112 UCAS points across specified subjects.
• GCSEs: 5 GCSEs with Maths and English at grade 5-6 or better.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities from feasibility to construction with detailed calculations.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software to present design solutions.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, bids and proposals.
• Provide technical input on civil engineering matters to the project team.
• Attend meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues.
