Job summary
Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services invites applications for an Apprentice CAD Technician. Based at our Matfen office, you will support the engineering team in CAD drawing production, design support, and documentation for security infrastructure projects while following an approved apprenticeship path.
You will gain practical CAD, civil engineering, and security systems knowledge, with structured training and mentorship across multiple disciplines and standards relevant to utilities and critical
Qualifications
- GCSEs including Mathematics and English.
- Interest in engineering, construction, design, or technical subjects.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and other software.
- Amend and update drawings under supervision of senior engineers.
- Learn to interpret technical specifications, site surveys, and engineering information.
- Support engineers and project teams with design-related tasks.
- Prepare design packages and technical documentation.
