Job summary

AFECO is recruiting for a CAD Technician to join our Havant team, focusing on 2D CAD design drawings for water industry projects. You will support the design engineering team with CAD tasks, contribute to civil infrastructure designs, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with 2D CAD and AutoCAD LT for civil design drawings.
• Good MS Office skills and data management practices.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality processes and water industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop design drawings and technical solutions for civil projects.
• Support CAD activities across water/wastewater infrastructure schemes.
• Coordinate with design team and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in implementing BIM/CDE workflows and keep documentation up to date.
• Attend industry events and uphold ISO procedures in projects.
