Job summary

Vital Energi is seeking a Trainee CAD Technician to join the design team and assist the Senior CAD Designer in producing 2D and 3D drawings for contracts UK-wide. You will help create proposal, construction and installation drawings and liaise with engineers to ensure accuracy.

Day-to-day you will issue drawings, print and copy documents, and maintain the quality management system. This role offers on-the-job training within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment across the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English Language and Science (grade 6/B) or equivalent.
• BTEC/ONC/NVQ2 in engineering related subject or currently pursuing.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the integrity of the quality management system.
• Issuing and recording drawings per procedures.
• Printing and copying drawings and documents.
• Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings from sketches.
• Liaising with Engineers to ensure accuracy.
