Job summary

Greene King is offering an Apprentice Chef position at their Huddersfield venue, in partnership with Lifetime Training. The program combines on-the-job training with four Chef Academy masterclasses and robust mentorship to develop culinary skills.

You will be part of a fast-paced kitchen, gaining experience across cooking and menu execution while developing professional competencies and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship delivered through work-based training and remote coaching via Team calls
• Functional Skills in English and maths with support if needed
• Reviews every 12 weeks with mentor and coach
• Join the Chef Academy with four masterclasses across cooking areas

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to meet specs and customer expectations
• Maintain hygiene and safety in the kitchen for the team and guests
• Communicate clearly with your team to deliver high-quality meals on time
• Keep up to date with new menus, products and promotions
