Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is seeking an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team and learn to prepare, cook and present dishes to meet specs in a fast-paced pub environment. You’ll work 30 hours per week, with shift work including evenings and weekends, during a 1 year 3 month apprenticeship.

This programme is delivered through Lifetime Training with on-the-job mentoring and access to four masterclasses across different cooking areas, supporting your career growth within Greene King’s brands.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and organisation skills are required.
• Apprenticeship delivered through work-based training with a mentor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to meet specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Communicate clearly with the team to deliver high-quality meals on time and stay updated on menus.
