Coinford Holdings Ltd. invites applications for an Apprentice Buyer role based at the head office in Smallfield. You will work within the Procurement team while pursuing a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience across supplier sourcing, quotations, and purchase orders.

This office-based role provides guided development, with a clear path to a professional procurement career over approximately 18 months.

Formación

• Interest in starting a career in buying and procurement with a reputable contractor.
• Willingness to learn, develop new skills and take on challenges.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and organised approach to work.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in researching and identifying potential suppliers for materials and services.
• Support obtaining quotations and compare supplier offers under guidance.
• Help prepare and issue purchase orders following guidelines.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor delivery times with guidance.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance and compliance with contracts.
• Support negotiations to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality.
• Help monitor PPE inventory and coordinate stock levels for projects.
• Coordinate with site teams for receipt, inspection and storage of materials.
• Identify opportunities to optimise inventory and reduce costs.
