Job Description
Ever thought of joining us at Career Connect?
Job Vacancy: Apprentice (Manchester)
Fixed term for 2 years
We are seeking an apprentice to join our friendly community team in Manchester. You will be part of a team that provides careers support to 16–18-year-olds not in education, employment, or training, helping them identify their career ambitions and transition into fulfilling work and training.
The role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side, with flexible work in community venues.
Career Connect is a charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people, adults, and families by providing support services that turn career ambitions into reality. We believe in a society where everyone can realize their full potential and aim to improve social mobility by enabling access to education, training, and employment.
We are looking for a creative, friendly, professional, and enthusiastic individual capable of promoting our services through multimedia promotional and marketing materials such as bulletins, flyers, videos, and pictures.
You will produce job and training bulletins to share opportunities with our client group and partners, highlighting the range of opportunities available for young people in Manchester.
You will support our team across the city and collaborate with partner organizations to improve outcomes for young people. This involves direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and professionals from support services, training providers, and employers, so excellent communication skills and the ability to travel independently are essential.
Completion of a Level 3 Business Administration qualification is expected, and support will be provided to achieve this, including time for assignments.
We offer a friendly, supportive work environment among colleagues committed to our mission and the communities we serve.
Join a growing charity dedicated to driving social mobility by enabling more people to access and succeed in education, training, and employment.
