Job summary

T.A Brickwork is offering an Apprentice Bricklayer (Level 2) role across the South West. You will work on construction sites with on-site supervision and receive full training throughout your apprenticeship. A CSCS card is required, and training will be provided after a successful interview with Skills Group.

This intermediate apprenticeship route focuses on bricklaying within construction and the built environment, with progression to Level 3 or self-employment after completion.

What You'll Do

Work duties will include:

• Safe working practices
• Labouring
• Setting out work areas
• Understanding and interpreting information
• Preparing mortar by hand
• Using specific tools required for tasks
• Measuring materials and cutting
• Keeping all work areas clean and tidy
• Manual lifting

Training Outcome

• On completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship with T.A Brickwork, an opportunity to apply for a full time post may be offered to the right learner
• Alternatively, you could go on to complete your Level 3 in Bricklaying, or, go on to be self-employed and start your own company
