Job summary

LIAM QUICK CONSTRUCTION LIMI is offering a Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship in the Devon and Cornwall area. The role involves applying bricks, blocks and pavers, with training provided by Skills Group Limited.

A CSCS card is required to access the site, and the programme lasts about two years with potential progression to Level 3 in Bricklaying. Working Week is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Introduction

You will be working alongside other builders, so you will also pick up experience in other home improvement activities that are carried out. Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship.

About the Employer

Liam works on new build properties in the Devon and Cornwall area. Main duties will include applying and sealing foundations with materials that are damp-resistant. You will be spreading and removing excess mortar, inspecting vertical and horizontal brick alignment.

What You'll Do

• Applying bricks, blocks and pavers in lines or following decorative patterns or designs
• Clearing up work space after each day
• Cleaning tools
• Mixing up

Due to the nature of the work, a CSCS card is required to be able to get onto the building site; training on this will be given if you pass the interview stage with Skills Group.

Training Outcome

• On completion of your Level 2 apprenticeship with the company, you will have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 in Bricklaying
