GTG Training is recruiting an Apprentice Autocare Technician for an independent garage in the West Midlands. The Modern Apprenticeship Programme lets you work full-time and earn while you learn, combining in-work training with centre-based weeks to gain Level 2 Autocare.
Based at our new VMU site in Wednesbury, you will learn vehicle servicing, repair and diagnostics while mentored by GTG staff and workplace mentors. A full UK driving licence is helpful but not essential.

GTG Training are recruiting for an Apprentice Autocare Technician on behalf of an independent garage. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are ready to advance their career within the automotive industry.
The Modern Apprenticeship Programmes allow apprentices to work full time and earn while they learn putting theory into practice within a training environment.
As well as attending the training centre for week block release of training, regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
You will be based within the garage workshop and will be involved in learning all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, removal, replacement and overhaul of major components and electrical fault diagnostics.
Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace with dedicated mentors from GTG and the apprentice's workplace, which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
You will train through GTG Wolverhampton, by attending block release training weeks, to achieve Level 2 Autocare.
GCSE Level or above in Maths, English
