Job summary

The apprenticeship with Southyorkshireapprenticeships offers hands-on learning four days a week in the office and one day of study at First Intuition. You will gain experience in putting together accounts, VAT returns, tax returns and other accounting tasks, with progression as your studies advance.

The program leads to AAT qualification, with potential support for further qualifications and development within a UK-wide client portfolio.

Job description

The apprenticeship will involve 4 days in the office learning with 1 day studying at First Intuition. The successful candidate will learn the processes involved in putting together accounts, VAT returns, tax returns and other jobs that accountants have to undertake.

About the Training

The job will allow the candidate to progress and build their knowledge alongside day release studying. We increase the complexity of the work undertaken as the candidate progresses and aim for them to undertake work relevant to their studies to help their understanding of the unit they are studying.

The study will be completed in the classroom or online and will result in the candidate becoming AAT qualified.

We have a diverse portfolio of clients including Sole traders, Partnerships, Charities and Limited Companies. These clients come from a variety of sectors and we predominantly deal with clients based across the UK.

We provide a variety of services to our clients including but not limited to Payroll, CIS declarations, Pensions, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns, Management Accounts, Annual Accounts, Personal and Corporate Tax Returns.
