Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Worcester offers a Level 3 Accountancy Apprenticeship designed for students leaving sixth form who want to begin a career in accounting without university.

You will rotate through our finance and management accounting teams, earning a salary while you learn, with training provided through Kaplan. The role is 35 hours per week on a fixed-term, 18-month contract at our head office with a balance of home and office working.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Interest in accounting and commitment to a career path in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through Worcester-based finance teams during 6-month placements.
  • Accurately raise sales invoices and support timely collation of accounting information.
  • Learn and develop through the Level 3 Accountancy Apprenticeship with Kaplan.

In partnership with our training provider Kaplan, we’re offering a Level 3 Accountancy Apprenticeship for students leaving sixth form who want to start a career without going to university.

This is an opportunity to join one of the largest organisations in Worcestershire, based at our Head Office. You’ll earn a salary while you learn, gaining real workplace experience by rotating through different roles across our finance and management accounting teams.

This apprenticeship is designed as the first step in a long-term career pathway. With commitment and strong performance, it can lead all the way to becoming a fully qualified accountant. We’re committed to supporting you throughout, giving you the time, training, and guidance you need to succeed alongside Kaplan.

What will you do?

You will be working from the Worcester office on 6 months rotations through our management and central finance teams. As part of your job role, you will be asked to complete tasks such as accurately raising sales invoices and supporting the timely collation of accounting information. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship!
