Job summary

DX, a market leading delivery services provider, is offering an Urban Driver Apprentice in West Bromwich. Over an 8-month programme you will learn professional driving and gain a Category C1 (7.5t) licence, aiming to move into a full-time 7.5t Driver role on completion.

You will perform office, drivers’ mate, and warehousing duties while training, and undertake CPC licences as part of the apprenticeship. Applicants must be 18+ with at least 12 months UK driving experience and a Category B

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over.
• Minimum 12 months UK driving experience.
• Category B licence required.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
• Carry out apprenticeship training tasks and prepare for driving role.
• Drive vehicles safely and legally with compliance to all regulations.
• Complete daily checks and report any defects.
• Ensure deliveries are scanned and paperwork is correct.
