Job summary

BCA is seeking an experienced Site Operations Leader to drive the Production area, delivering high-quality digital assets on time and within cost parameters. You will support the Duty Manager - Production in people management, recruitment, training and wellbeing, with emphasis on effective communication and team development.

This role involves coordinating with central teams and external partners, maintaining SOP compliance, and leading performance improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a line manager or team leader role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate information to operational team.
• Ability to motivate a team to meet objectives.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SOPs and quality targets knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production of digital assets and ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Manage workload and staffing levels to meet SLA targets.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and cost targets.
• Coordinate with RAC, SMART repair and enhancement partners.
• Analyse trends to improve performance and KPI metrics.

Main purpose of the role

To provide day to day operational leadership in the Production area to create the highest quality digital asset within agreed time and cost parameters.

To support the Duty Manager - Production in the delivery of all elements of effective people management including recruitment, training, performance management, communication, and wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will be:

People Management:

• To manage all elements of the employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
• Performance management of the team including training,coachingand appraisals to
• ensure bothoptimumperformance and talent pipeline.
• Effective workforce management, including absence planning, ensuringoptimumstaff
• levelsat all timesand adherence to working time directive.
• Effective communication to team ensuring awareness of results and key priorities.

Operational Management:

• Accountable for thetimelyproduction ofhigh qualitydigital assets, specifically arrivals, and
• Support other Team Leaders as necessary across Production
• Ensure adherence to BCA Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensuring that quality,speedand cost targets are delivered to maximise profitability.
• Effective inventory management to ensure vehicles are prepared andentered intosale
• withinSLA’s.
• Liaise with central online team to maximise performance.
• Manage site relationship with RAC, SMARTrepairand vehicle enhancement.
• Identifyingany patterns, trends, and opportunities for improving performance and
• working with the Centre Manager and Co-ordinators to set and monitor KPI’s across the
• Centre

To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:

• Experience in a line manager or team leader role
• Able todemonstratehigh-level organisational skills and an ability to communicate a
• variety of information and instruction to operational team members
• Delegate responsibility appropriately and effectively
• Ability to motivate a team to deliverobjectivesand meet targets
• Good report generation and presentation abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence
