An exciting opportunity has arisen for Maternity Cover Appointments Clerk in the Gastroenterology Department at St Richards Hospital. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (7.5hours per shift), booking all new & follow up appointments as per consultant team requests and from pending lists/patient tracking lists.
You will be required to support with clinic cancellations and rescheduling of appointments including last minute telephone communication with patients.

The successful post holder should have a proactive and friendly attitude with an excellent telephone manner.
Full training on IT applications will be provided (Careflow).
You must be able to work under your own initiative, possess excellent organisational skills and be experienced in dealing with confidential information. You will need attention to detail when booking patients into individual consultant and nurse clinics.
Clerical support to the gastroenterology secretariat enabling our team to provide an efficient and effective secretarial service to the Consultants and clinical teams within gastroenterology.
Book all Gastroenterology/IBD new & follow up appointments from pending lists via Careflow and support with clinic cancellation and rescheduling.
