BYLOR Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Appointed Person to lead crane operations at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. You will organise lifting operations, manage crane teams and ensure compliance with LOLER and BS7121 standards.
The role requires a CPCS Appointed Person Card, relevant experience, and knowledge of site standards and lifting regulations. Competitive salaries, private medical insurance, pension schemes and annual holiday allowance are provided.

APs will hold the following responsibilities in line with LOLER and BS7121.

The Appointed Person should consult all parties involved in the selection and hire of the crane, especially experienced persons in the crane team. While they may delegate duties to competent persons, the Appointed Person will maintain overall responsibility for these duties.
All positions with Bylor are employed directly with either Laing O’Rourke or Bouygues Travaux Public and include competitive salaries, private medical insurance, company pension schemes and annual holiday allowance. Some grades will also include a company car allowance.
Unless stated otherwise all positions are based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
