Job summary

Penta Group is seeking Applied AI / ML Engineers early in their careers to design, build, test and deploy AI-native workflows using Python, LLMs, AWS and Claude Code. You will work on practical AI tooling, embracing rapid delivery and collaboration across product and advisory teams.

The role focuses on building and operating AI systems, with an emphasis on real-world software, reliability and scalable infrastructure, while learning from a strong data science and engineering community at Penta.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with at least one modern AI-native tool or platform.
• Strong Python coding ability to build, read, test and debug real software.
• Excellent prompting and context-engineering skills with LLMs in real workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and developer tooling.
• Basic SQL and Git version control.
• Ability to ship working software and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-native tools and workflows using Claude Code and frontier AI tools.
• Stand up and operate AWS services and infrastructure as code.
• Support applied AI and data science delivery with Python, SQL and APIs.
• Learn, improve and contribute by taking ownership of tasks and prototypes.
• Join fast delivery cycles and share learnings to raise practical AI capability.
