Job summary

Calnex Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our Applications Engineering & Support team in Linlithgow. You will provide high-quality technical support and solutions to our global customer base, resolving complex issues while developing deep product expertise.

The role involves hands-on problem solving, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Sales, and Operations. Occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Networking Technology or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge on Calnex’s Network Application & Assurance product lines.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, sales teams & partners.
• Investigate complex technical issues with Product Development to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Build understanding of customer use cases, applications, and operational challenges.
• Represent the Voice of the Customer within cross-functional teams responsible for product development and support.
