Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking an Applications Software Engineer in Cambridge to develop and maintain embedded software using C#, .NET, and MAUI across the software lifecycle.

You will translate customer requirements into functioning software, implement automated tests, and contribute to APIs for distributed systems while collaborating with a skilled team and leveraging AI tooling for quality improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related engineering field.
• Proven delivery of application software with complex algorithms and/or user interfaces.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into operational software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C#, .NET, MAUI and related technologies.
• Implement test automation including unit, regression and performance tests.
• Contribute to API and interface development for distributed systems.
• Support peer code reviews and AI-assisted reviews to maintain quality.
