Job summary

Qualifications

• Good problem-solving ability with strong attention to software detail.
• Clear communication skills with experience explaining technical facts and practices to internal team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C#, .NET, MAUI and other related technologies across the software development lifecycle.
• Solve general technical problems by applying prior experience and analysis of system requirements.
• Develop solutions to allow distributed operation between multiple nodes and highly integrated systems of systems.
• Recommend local adjustments or enhancements to software systems, tools, and development processes.
• Implement test automation, including unit, regression, and performance tests, to ensure high software quality.
• Participate in peer code and AI reviews, applying quality standards and providing constructive feedback.
• Communicate clear technical information to departmental team members to reach agreement on tasks and implementation details.
• Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals or support staff as needed.

Job description

Development of application software to support our distributed RF analysis and geolocation products. You may be involved in developing user interfaces to support our armed forces customers, developing complex algorithms to support RF and geolocation analysis or building APIs to support interfacing to 3rd party products and system of systems. Where appropriate, development is accelerated using AI tooling, with individual responsibility for code quality. This role is ideal for an established engineer looking to deepen their technical experience within a collaborative team.
