Job summary

Elevations seeks an experienced Applications Engineer to join its Technical, Design & Projects team. You will act as the technical link between customers, sales and engineering, owning multiple projects from enquiry through to delivery.

You will assess applications, configure solutions, and support proposals while collaborating with engineering teams. Occasional UK and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical engineering background with the ability to understand complex applications and solve technical problems.
• Experience dealing directly with customers and handling technical/application queries.
• Experience configuring, adapting or specifying engineered products or technical solutions.
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from initial enquiry through specification, solution configuration, validation and handover.
• Act as the key technical contact for customers, distributors and internal sales teams.
• Understand customer applications and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Support technical proposals, quotations and solution documentation.
• Work closely with engineering teams on product modifications or developments.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve application queries through the project lifecycle.
• Occasionally visit customer sites to demonstrate equipment and understand applications.
