Job summary

White Recruitment Construction in Manchester seeks an Industrial Applications Engineer to own the end-to-end creation of technical offers for industrial customers. You will ensure each offer is technically accurate and commercially compelling, selecting solution architectures across heating, cooling, water transfer and high‑pressure applications based on client needs.

The role requires building energy savings calculations, ROI models and lifecycle cost cases, while engaging with plant engineers,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial pumps, heavy industrial or process environments.
• Experience in application engineering or process engineering roles.
• Ability to read, interpret, and commercially analyse P&IDs and process schematics.
• Capability to design system-level solutions across heating, cooling, water transfer and high-pressure applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end creation of technical offers for industrial customers.
• Ensure every offer is technically accurate and commercially compelling.
• Select and specify the right solution architecture based on customer requirements.
• Build energy savings calculations, ROI models, and lifecycle cost cases.
• Engage with plant engineers, process managers, and energy managers.
• Conduct site assessments and process audits to map architectures.
• Analyse P&IDs.
