Job summary

Silbo Select Ltd in the UK is recruiting a Regional Applications Engineer to support sales with a strong CNC background and a focus on cutting tools for metalworking sectors including Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace.

You will cover the DE NG LU MK SG LE CV NN postcodes, work with three Area Sales Managers, promote a premium range of tools, and report to the Regional Manager. A hands-on, target-driven approach and CAD/CAM awareness are advantageous.

Qualifications

Regional Applications Engineer – CNC Cutting tools

c£46,000 - £48,000 + bonus, comm, FE car + benefits

Covering DE NG LU MK SG LE CV NN postcodes

(Ideally based in the centre of the area - preferably CV, NN or LE)

This successful, longstanding and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, grooving, milling and boring.Their products are sold into the Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace sectors. To further strengthen their team, they have a current requirement for a talented Regional Applications Engineer.

Utilising both your technical and commercial skills you will be supporting the development of customer relationships within direct and distribution networks. You will be working within the sales team and reporting to the Regional Manager. The role will see you covering the DE NG LU MK SG LE CV and NN postcodes. To be considered, you must live in one of those postcodes, ideally in the centre of the area. Supporting three Area Sales Managers, you will be responsible for the promotion of a range of high-quality cutting tools and solutions to a range of sectors including Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace.

A strong CNC background is essential and ideally you will have worked previously as a Miller, Turner, Setter, Operator. You could have an ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or CNC experience gained within a relevant Technical Apprenticeship. It may be that you already have some experience in Cutting Tools sales with distributors and direct customers though this is not essential. CAD/CAM experience would be highly beneficial.
