If yes, read on
My client is a leading supplier of advanced CNC machine tools and manufacturing solutions, working with customers across the UK, Ireland and internationally. Due to a vacancy within their Advanced Grinding and Milling Applications Team, they are looking for an Applications Engineer with a bias towards CNC grinding.
They are happy to consider an experienced Applications Engineer, but are equally interested in speaking with CNC machinists with grinding experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. Full training and support will be provided.
Working within the Advanced Grinding and Milling Applications Team, you will provide technical support throughout the customer journey, from reviewing initial applications and supporting the sales team through to programming, demonstrations, training and production support.
The role is varied, combining home-based technical work, customer visits, machine programming, applications support and international travel.
You don't necessarily need previous Applications Engineer experience. If you're currently working on CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment and have good grinding knowledge, this could be an opportunity to take your technical experience into a field-based, customer-facing career.
