Job description

White Label is representing an engineering and manufacturing business based in Pontefract who require an Applications Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping bespoke engineered solutions, ensuring each proposal meets both technical and commercial requirements. You will work closely with internal teams across sales, engineering, projects, and production to produce accurate, well-costed quotations using an in-house estimating system.

Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer

• Analyse client specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine scope and requirements
• Review electrical schematics and layout drawings
• Where required will produce proposal 2D drawings for customer review, using AutoCAD
• Support the sales team with accurate and compliant technical proposals
• Liaise directly with customers, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards

Experience required of the Applications Engineer
