Are you ready to join a team in revolutionising financial data automation? Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Support Shift Lead to join their innovative team.

The Company: Our client is at the forefront of transforming financial data management for a wide range of clients, from dynamic FinTech startups to global banking institutions. Their platform simplifies complex data processes, automates critical business operations, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

The Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Application Support Engineer looking to advance into a managerial role. The successful candidate will remain hands-on technically while also mentoring and managing a team.

The day-to-day responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and coordinate initial incident assessment and response.
  2. Handle incidents directly when needed.
  3. Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  4. Track and report SLA metrics.
  5. Address escalated issues from customers and internal stakeholders.
  6. Track team metrics and provide coaching to improve productivity.
  7. Identify and implement enhancements to internal processes and policies.
  8. Conduct maintenance tasks and small projects during low activity periods.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven team management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience handling service tickets.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory services.
  • Experience with Windows Server 201x.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of MS-SQL, especially Azure SQL Database.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell/Bash scripting.
