ERP Application Support Consultant required. My client is an established ERP Software Development and integration company that sells, develops, and supports priority ERP across Europe, Australia, Israel, and the US. Being over 30 years old, with over 1000 international customers, their experience allows them to help both small companies taking their first steps in the ERP arena, as well as medium and large companies wishing to replace their cumbersome legacy systems.

They are now looking for an Application Support Consultant to join their office based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager. This role requires a hands-on problem-solving ERP expert, along with supporting the current environments and working with the team on new implementations across the UK.

Prospects will receive full comprehensive training in ERP. The right person would be an ambitious individual looking to progress into an ERP Consulting role after learning the product.

Requirements

The role of Application Support Consultant will involve:

• Taking phone calls from clients, identifying problems, and logging service calls in our system.
• Responding to client inquiries.
• Taking ownership of each case, working through issues logically and thoroughly.
• Using SQL to interrogate problems and advising developers when required.

There will be ample opportunity to learn and develop, with encouragement to expand into other areas outside of support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn ERP and SQL in depth and to progress rapidly into other software consulting areas.
