Job summary

Experis is seeking a DevOps-minded Application Developer based in London (Hybrid) or UK-wide remote to support a nationally critical programme. You will configure and maintain infrastructure, develop Python-based solutions on AWS, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab within a RHEL environment.

The role covers development, testing, and deployment activities alongside the delivery team, with a focus on environment stability and performance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience configuring infrastructure and applications with Ansible.
• Solid Python capability and practical AWS cloud experience.
• Experience with GitLab pipelines for CI/CD.
• UNIX administration skills, including Bash scripting in RHEL environments.
• Experience with Behave/Cucumber for testing.

This is a 12-month umbrella-only opportunity based in London (Hybrid) / remote within the UK, with hybrid arrangements available from London York Road and remote options across the UK. We are supporting Borders & Trade needs as part of a nationally critical programme under the DALAS Lot 3 framework.
