Job summary

TVS SCS is seeking an Application Delivery Lead to own the end-to-end delivery, QA, and live stability for a portfolio of critical applications and integrations. You will perform hands-on business analysis and lead offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, ensuring test coverage, validating releases, and supporting incidents post-launch. A strong ownership mindset and SDLC expertise are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning delivery in a business-critical environment.
• Strong experience performing business analysis as part of delivery.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing practices.
• Experience coordinating with offshore/distributed development teams.

• Lead and oversee development delivered by offshore teams to ensure quality and pace.
• Ensure unit test coverage and oversee release readiness and deployment sign-off.
• Collaborate with Product teams to set priorities and delivery approach.
• Act as application subject-matter expert supporting during incidents and releases.
• Provide post-release support and maintain documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Balance delivery demands with system stability and business priorities.
• Support and maintain operational documentation and system understanding.

Job description

Purpose:

The Application Delivery Lead is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, quality assurance, and live operational stability of a portfolio of business-critical applications and integrations. The role combines hands-on business analysis, delivery leadership, and subject‑matter expertise to ensure systems meet operational needs and continue to evolve beyond initial rollout.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery lifecycle for assigned applications, from requirements discovery through development, testing, release, and live operation
• Perform hands-on business analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and acceptance criteria definition
• Lead and take accountability for development delivered by internal offshore software teams, ensuring quality, pace, and alignment to agreed priorities
• Ensure appropriate unit test coverage through oversight of delivery teams, perform IT-level functional validation where necessary, and own release readiness including final review and deployment sign‑off.
• Work with Product teams to agree priorities, sequencing, and delivery approach for system enhancements
• Act as the application subject‑matter expert, supporting the service desk and operations during incidents and releases as required
• Provide day‑one and post‑release support for operational systems to ensure smooth adoption
• Accountable for application documentation, knowledge transfer, and maintaining strong system understanding to support ongoing delivery and support
• Balance delivery demands with system stability, operational risk, and business priorities

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

• Proven experience owning application delivery in a business‑critical environment
• Strong experience performing business analysis as part of a delivery role
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing practices
• Experience working with distributed or offshore development teams
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make decisions under ambiguity

Desirable

• Experience with Technical Services Systems (e.g. Service Now, Salesforce) and relevant Integrations
• Background in Technical Services (e.g. Break fix, IT rollout and deployment services)
• Experience supporting live systems alongside formal service desk functions

Additional Information

• Some travel may be required
