Avanade Inc. is seeking an Application Architect to translate client needs into cloud-based solutions running on Microsoft Azure. You will lead a cross-functional team, mentor developers, and shape development standards to deliver high-quality software.

You will design, implement, and integrate microservices and APIs using C#/.Net, ASP.Net Core, and DevOps practices. Expect collaboration with clients and partners to drive architecture outcomes and value creation.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture development and cost optimisation on the Microsoft Platform.
• Advanced skills in developing greenfield, performant microservice-based architectures.
• Experience delivering proof of value projects and driving this to bigger opportunities.
• Ability to lead application transformation discovery, design and delivery, including integration platform transformation.
• Advanced expertise in C# /Net.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI and experience in use of GitHub Copilot to support architecture design and delivery.
• Proficient in RESTful services, Microservices, ASP.Net Core.
• Experience with Azure Compute, Storage, and PaaS services.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Entity Framework.

As an Application Architect, you will design cloud-based solutions, collaborate with clients, partners and others and drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms. You will oversee a cross-functional team, mentor team members, and recommend changes in development standards. Your role will be pivotal in creating an environment that fosters accountability, quality, and innovation.

• Ability to lead application transformation discovery, design and delivery, including integration platform transformation
• Advanced expertise in C# /Net

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes / AKS
• Proficient in Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert qualification
