Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include PGCE or QTS, with A-levels in relevant subjects.
• Proven track record tutoring within Alternative Provision or working with SEN/SEMH learners is essential.
• Knowledge of the Secondary curriculum relevant to tutoring is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions focusing on core subjects or specialist support.
• Plan learning activities to meet complex needs and ensure adjustments.
• Support learners in building independent learning strategies.
• Record session notes and communicate outcomes with school staff.
• Coordinate with educational settings about delivery approaches and schedules.
• Adhere to safeguarding and compliance policies.
