Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking dedicated tutors in England's East Midlands to provide tailored support primarily in Maths and English for students aged 8–16. Flexzo Teach connects tutors directly with schools for short term, long term and ongoing support.

What you’ll do:
  • Deliver personalised, one-to-one or small group tuition, mainly in-person
  • Adapt lessons to SEND learners’ needs, focusing heavily on engagement and confidence-building
  • Support curriculum-aligned progress in core subjects (primarily Maths and English) at KS1–KS4, GCSE, or Functional Skills level
  • Maintain professional communication and reporting with students, parents, and the client schools
What you need (Essential):
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience with strong core subject knowledge (Maths and English)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but not essential if you have substantial classroom or SEND experience
  • Experience tutoring or supporting learners in a structured environment
  • Ability to drive and travel within ~30 minutes of assigned students
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one for in-person sessions
  • Fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Excellent in your communication, timekeeping, reliability, and reporting
