Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking dedicated tutors in England's East Midlands to provide tailored support primarily in Maths and English for students aged 8–16. As a tutor, you will adapt lessons for SEND learners and support their educational progress through personalized one-to-one or small group sessions.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver personalised, one-to-one or small group tuition, mainly in-person
• Adapt lessons to SEND learners’ needs, focusing heavily on engagement and confidence-building
• Support curriculum-aligned progress in core subjects (primarily Maths and English) at KS1–KS4, GCSE, or Functional Skills level
• Maintain professional communication and reporting with students, parents, and the client schools

What you need (Essential):

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience with strong core subject knowledge (Maths and English)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but not essential if you have substantial classroom or SEND experience
• Experience tutoring or supporting learners in a structured environment
• Ability to drive and travel within ~30 minutes of assigned students
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one for in-person sessions
• Fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Excellent in your communication, timekeeping, reliability, and reporting
