Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a highly organised administrator to join the Anti-Illicit Trade Forensics and Compliance team at our Southampton R&D facility. The role focuses on handling, authenticating and managing research samples, ensuring accurate records and secure processing of information from international partners and agencies.

You will support multi-project workflows, maintain documentation, and liaise with export teams and internal databases while upholding strict compliance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have strong admin experience with high attention to detail.
• Experience handling confidential information in regulated environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with data entry, stock control or audit processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and accurately record incoming research samples.
• Sort and authenticate products following procedures and training.
• Maintain product stock levels and support inventory management activities.
• Provide timely updates on sample receipt to assist workload planning.
• Assist with customs compliance, document retention and disposal procedures.
• Ensure accurate filing and record management in line with compliance requirements.
• Input and maintain case-related information in databases.
• Coordinate return of samples with export teams.
