Job summary

APCOA is seeking an Operational Service Technician to monitor and maintain our ANPR infrastructure across Midlands sites. You will perform proactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and provide first‑line support to maximise uptime and service reliability.

Covering locations such as the University of Warwick, Loughborough University, CBS Arena and others, you will work with internal teams and external partners, produce operational reports, and help drive continuous improvements in the technology

Qualifications

• Experience supporting operational technology, CCTV, ANPR or networking systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to sites with UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ANPR assets daily to ensure optimum performance.
• Identify equipment issues and system faults early.
• Maintain health dashboards and alert escalation.
• Attend sites for first-line diagnostics and fault resolution.
• Coordinate with engineers or suppliers for complex repairs.
• Maintain records of incidents, repairs, and visits.
• Assist with deployment of new ANPR assets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
