Job summary

Bradford Council is seeking an ANPR/CCTV Systems & Operational Support Assistant in the Department of Environment. The role offers technical and operational support for ANPR/CCTV systems across council services and collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.

You will contribute to system procurement, upgrades, and resilience planning while identifying efficiency gains and commercial opportunities for ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with ANPR/CCTV infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Maintenance of ANPR/CCTV systems and infrastructure (Servers, Network Switch and Firewall configuration).
• Control room Alarm ARC system, lone worker systems and radio systems, used across a wide range of services.
• Working in accordance with supplier contracts & monitoring and reporting on outcomes and contractor performance.
• Working with internal services and managing external contractors and suppliers.
• Providing technical and operational support to relevant service management.
• Providing technical advice/guidance to services in the procurement of new systems, system upgrades or contract reviews.
• Keeping abreast of new technologies and security requirements for future integrations into the Councils operating systems.
• To identify service efficiencies, cost savings and commercial opportunities to enable growth for the service.
• Working with service management in the management and review of systems resilience and emergency/disaster recovery plans.
