Job summary

Salt is recruiting for 6 Android Engineers to join a fast-paced mobile engineering team serving tens of millions of users globally. You will develop and enhance Android apps, work with product, design, QA, and other engineers, and tackle performance and reliability challenges.

You will contribute to modern development practices, CI/CD, and work across legacy and modern codebases in a distributed engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building Android apps with Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
• Proficient in MVI architecture and modern Android patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin coroutines and Flow.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and using OkHttp.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit/Espresso).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and modern tooling.
• Ability to work across legacy and modern codebases.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced engineering environment where you will work alongside Product Owners, Designers, QA and other Engineers to develop and improve mobile applications at significant scale.

The Role

As an Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new features, improving existing applications and solving complex technical challenges.

You will work within a small, collaborative engineering team and have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape technical solutions.
