Job summary

Salt is seeking 6 experienced Android Engineers to join a high-profile mobile team. The role focuses on developing and improving mobile applications used by millions globally, employing Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android practices.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams to deliver features and maintain code quality. Join a distributed engineering environment with a strong emphasis on testing and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing Android applications.
• Strong Kotlin experience and modern Android development knowledge.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and MVI architecture.
• Proficient in Kotlin Coroutines and Flow; familiar with REST APIs and OkHttp.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for 6 experienced Android Engineers to join a high-profile mobile engineering team working on applications used by millions of customers globally.

You will work as part of a small, collaborative team alongside Engineers, QA, Product Owners and Designers, developing and improving mobile applications while working with modern Android technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
• Build and deliver new mobile features
• Work closely with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to performance optimisation and improving application quality
• Work with existing and Legacy codebases where required
• Write unit and integration tests
• Design solutions to open-ended technical problems
