Zusammenfassung

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Anatomical Pathology Technologist (Band 5) to join the Mortuary and Bereavement Services team based at Peterborough City Hospital. The role involves post-death care, mortuary administration and liaison with bereaved families, coronial services and police.

Travel to Hinchingbrooke Hospital may be required. Non-APT-Qualified applicants may be considered in a trainee capacity, with in-house training while working towards the RSPH Level 3 Diploma

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs including English and Maths (minimum)
• Bereavement qualification or willingness to undertake
• RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Science or equivalent
• RSPH Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Science would be advantageous

Aufgaben

• Facilitate admission, storage and release of patients
• Arrange and prepare patients for relative visitation
• Monitor the condition of deceased patients and provide appropriate care
