Job summary

Elsevier in London is seeking a Customer Success Consultant (SME) Analytics to provide advanced product and domain expertise and consultative support across the post-sales journey. You will work with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Product and Education to drive adoption of Analytics Products like SciVal and Scopus and deliver value through deep bibliometric knowledge.

The role requires strong consultative, stakeholder-management and communications skills, with experience in research analytics

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support post-sales analytics and adoption
• Experience with bibliometrics or scientometrics
• Experience in information science or data analysis
• Strong English and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CSM and Education teams to support adoption and advanced use of Analytics Products, including SciVal and Scopus.
• Maintain knowledge of Elsevier AI solutions and the broader generative AI landscape.
• Support customers with complex use cases, change management and process improvement.
• Align Elsevier’s capabilities with customer priorities and position our solutions relative to competitors.
• Provide advanced consultation and training where deeper product, methodological or domain expertise is required.
• Support or lead complex customer escalations, working with Product and Support teams to identify solutions or workarounds.
• Apply knowledge of bibliometrics, research evaluation and scholarly publishing to support customer needs.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Customer Education to share insights and contribute to long-term engagement plans around renewals and account growth.
