Job summary

Oscar, a leading global private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join its data function in London. You will work across data engineering, transformation, modelling and analytics to build reliable, scalable data solutions for complex investment data.

You will bring strong Microsoft Fabric experience, solid SQL and Power BI skills, and a background in private equity. This hands-on role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a modern data technology stack.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Experience in Private Equity sector.
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
• Power BI data modelling and reporting experience.
• Experience with Azure data services.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes using Microsoft Fabric.
• Work across data ingestion, transformation, modelling and analytics.
• Develop robust and reusable data models to support reporting and analytical requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate these into technical solutions.
• Ensure data solutions are reliable, scalable and maintainable.
• Support the continued development of the organisation's modern data platform.
• Apply best practices around data quality, testing, documentation and governance.
• Work with large and complex datasets to support data-driven decision‑making.
