Checkout.com is hiring an Analytics Engineer to design and build data pipelines that process data from our systems and services. The role partners with Finance to translate requirements into robust models and reliable data processing.

You will maintain data quality while enabling scalable analytics across the business. The position is hybrid in London, three days in the office, and you will work with Finance and Treasury teams to uphold data integrity and compliance as Checkout continues to

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Analytics/Data Engineering with large-scale data transformation
• Excellent SQL coding skills
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience with data transformation tools (dbt, Dataflow)
• Understanding of data modeling techniques
• Experience with visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Superset)
• Knowledge of Python, Java or Flink is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines across systems and applications.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines.
• Collaborate on scalable data models for downstream analytics.
• Ensure data governance and security across systems.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve the platform.
