Job summary

Signal AI is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the newly formed Business Analytics team, collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Product to design and build analytical models for enterprise clients and internal users.

You will manage data pipelines, ensure data quality, and lead the development of dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, transforming large datasets into actionable insights with governance and scalable data models.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python for relational databases and data warehouses.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and APIs (dbt, Airflow, Talend).
• Proficient in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
• Knowledge of data modeling and transformations within data pipelines.
• Self-starter mindset with proactive issue identification and solution delivery.
• Experience building data products in cross-functional teams with outcomes in mind.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data models using SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards; lead user engagement in Power BI & Tableau for clients and internal users.
• Transform, analyze and optimize large data sets; deliver actionable insights.
• Own reporting processes with strong governance and version control for accuracy.
• Test, refine analytics scoring, user behavior, product performance to identify KPIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and ops analysts to provide data-driven insights.
