Job summary

Immediate is building a data‑driven foundation to power insights, self‑serve analytics and AI‑driven decisions. We seek an Analytics Engineer to join the Data function on a permanent basis, reporting to the Lead Analytics Engineer.

You’ll develop scalable, well‑tested data models designed for wide business use, not just dashboards, and contribute across design, development, testing and enablement in a collaborative data team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL proficiency for transformation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with dbt on Databricks and relevant modelling techniques.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling and modern data stack principles.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Clear communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise to shape data modelling strategy across data domains.
• Design and implement dbt models on Databricks for subscriptions and content data.
• Build data products and reusable data sets powering dashboards and self-serve analytics.
• Improve data quality, coverage, and performance across the data platform.
• Support analysts and stakeholders in understanding data assets.
• Create scalable dbt models across core data domains (subscriptions, content).
• Develop and maintain a suite of dbt tests for data quality.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to maintain reporting marts.
• Support self-serve and conversational analytics capabilities.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift team capability.
