Job summary

Appinio is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Data team. You will design scalable data models, transform data with SQL, dbt and Python, and build robust pipelines across our data warehouse. You’ll collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering to define key metrics and ensure data quality.

You will work on APIs, third-party data sources, and AI-powered tooling to automate workflows and improve data infrastructure, enabling reliable, scalable analytics for global clients.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with experience building scalable data models in modern warehouses.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and data quality processes.
• Proficiency in Python and building data workflows, APIs, and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery) and dbt tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain clean, scalable data models in the data warehouse using SQL and dbt.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows from multiple sources.
• Build, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and integrations from APIs and databases.
• Ensure data quality with automated tests, validations, and monitoring.
• Document data models, pipelines, and business definitions for transparency.
• Define and standardize business metrics like revenue, bookings, and churn.
• Collaborate with analysts, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
