Job summary

Preventx is recruiting a Laboratory Analyst to supervise daily lab operations, guide technicians and handle diverse samples. You will operate high-throughput serological and molecular analysers, review results, and ensure strict quality compliance within ISO 15189 and GLP frameworks.

The role includes maintaining quality control records, supporting IQA/EQA programs, and delivering training to staff while upholding data protection and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in a relevant scientific subject or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of laboratory practice and environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a group.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and guide technicians.
• Receive, book, and prepare biological samples (urine, swabs, blood).
• Operate high-throughput serological and molecular analysers.
• Review, release and report test results.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 and GLP standards.
• Maintain records, QA/CAPA documentation, and maintenance logs.
