Job summary

Randox Testing Services in the UK is seeking a Developmental Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on developing and validating LCMS methods for the identification and quantification of analytes from biological samples, supporting drug and alcohol testing across safety-critical industries.

The successful candidate will maintain analytical instrumentation, interpret data, ensure chain of custody and confidentiality, and contribute to quality documentation in a busy ISO/IEC17025 environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Science, Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• At least 2 years of LCMS/PHLC analytical experience.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate LCMS methods for analyte identification and quantification.
• Troubleshoot and improve chromatography–mass spectral methods and processes.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instrumentation.
• Process, review and interpret analytical data and maintain records/quality documentation.
• Ensure chain of custody and confidentiality throughout the process.
